Radiothon

November 2-4, 2011

The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon has grown to be one of the most successful programs for fundraising and increasing awareness for Oklahoma’s own Children’s Hospital Foundation. Broadcasting stories of medical miracles, straight from the people who experienced them, The KXY Loves Kids Radiothon has touched the heart of communities all over Oklahoma. Miracle children share their amazing stories of hope as they describe living a life of cancer, diabetes and many other illnesses.

KXY 96.1 Clear Channel Radio hosts Dan Stroud, Bill Reed, Patti Garrett and Tom Travis ask listeners for their support for three days in the brand new Children’s Atrium, owned and operated by University Hospitals Authority and Trust. Hundreds of people choose to become KXY Loves Kids Club Members by pledging to donate $15 a month. KXY Loves Kids Club Members help improve the health of Oklahoma’s sickest children. Also, an activity kit bearing the name of the KXY Loves Kids Club Member is delivered to a child’s bedside.

ÒWe hope listeners will continue to be inspired by miraculous survival stories from our amazing kids so we can continue in our efforts to fund pediatric research, education and clinical care for Oklahoma’s kidsÓ said Jan Dunham, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Director.

Make sure you tune in to 96.1 FM to show your support for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and all Oklahoma children.
